Syracuse University

Syracuse University is a private research university with more than 200 majors to choose from in its nine undergraduate colleges. With many highly regarded programs from Architecture to Supply Chain Management, students work with almost 1,000 terrific faculty members to forge a truly unique undergraduate experience. According to the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, Syracuse University has a high level of research activity in its 29 research centers. Students work closely with faculty on research projects and forge close bonds over the course of their four years at the school. Students make sure to sit in on University Lectures that bring prestigious leaders and scholars like Al Gore and Muhammad Yunus to campus. When not studying or conducting research, students go crazy for ‘the Orange’ the nickname for their 20 NCAA Division I teams, especially the men’s basketball team.
