A private, coeducational liberal arts school, Claremont Mckenna College is a highly selective and academically challenging choice for graduating seniors. CMC forms part of the Claremont Colleges, which allows students to take up to 2/3 of their coursework at other schools should they so choose. Government and economics are overwhelmingly popular choices for incoming students looking for a major. Outside the classroom, students can sit in on talks given by some of the most sought-after speakers in the world including Archbishop Desmond Tutu and President Bill Clinton at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum. A residential campus and tight knit community, students take advantage of top-notch academics and close interaction with professors during their time at Claremont McKenna College.
