Vassar college is a highly selective, coeducational liberal arts college that occupies a 1,000 acre campus in New York. Campus features a 400 acre ecological preserve with over 200 tree species and is a nationally recognized arboretum. Apart from being situated on a green and beautiful, Vassar College is a terrific liberal arts school known for its focus on multidisciplinary studies that encourages students to push disciplinary boundaries to the limit in their quest for knowledge. Matthew Vassar was known for declaring that “art should stand boldly forth as an educational force.” That message came through when the college was the first to include a full-scale museum in its construction plans, and still resonates today as the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is one of the largest college/university museum in the world and houses 18,000 works of art. Students are encouraged to learn and explore with the assistance of highly-rated faculty members as undergraduates at one of America’s most selective and beautiful schools.
