Intel ISEF & Affiliated Science Fairs

The prestigious Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.  Each year, more than 1,500 high school students from dozens of countries showcase their independent research and compete for millions of dollars in prizes. The Intel ISEF is considered the premier global science competition for students in grades 9–12.

Each year, millions of high school students worldwide compete in local and school-sponsored science fairs.  The winners of these events often go on to participate in Intel ISEF-affiliated regional and state fairs from which the best win the opportunity to attend the Intel ISEF.

To participate in the Intel ISEF, students must compete in at least one level of competition (state, regional, or national science fair) that is affiliated with the Intel ISEF.
