AP English Exam Score Distribution: 2013, 2012, 2011

Total Registration, an AP Exam registration service, has compiled the following Advanced Placement exam scores* from College Board sources including Tweets from the College Board's Trevor Packer, following the May 2013 exams. InLikeMe has created tables for each AP showing score distributions based on Total Registration's web posts.

Score distributions for the various AP exam can be extremely helpful for putting AP exam scores into context and for high school planning. Advanced Placement exams are graded on a scale of 1 to 5 as follows:

5: Extremely well qualified to receive college credit or advanced placement

4: Well qualified to receive college credit or advanced placement

3: Qualified to receive college credit or advanced placement

2: Possibly qualified to receive college credit or advanced placement

1: No recommendation to receive college credit or advanced placement

* The 2013 scores are preliminary that may change slightly as late exams are scored.
